A fuel-leak north of Madoc had emergency and clean-up crews busy for 8 hours last night.
A transport hit something near Bannockburn… and made it to a trucking outfit at Highway 62 and Stoney Settlement Road… where it leaked about 40 gallons of diesel fuel.
Crews from the Ministry of Environment… Madoc Township and Belleville Fire Departments and Cruickshank Construction were all called in to help with the clean-up.
There’s no word on any environmental damage from the spill.
