The local Habitat for Humanity is urging the public to remember its ReStore outlet during this spring cleanup week.
The Hastings and Prince Edward ReStore is a non-profit fundraising operation supporting the house building operations of Habitat for Humanity, which can cost about 60-thousand dollars a house.
The store sells recycled, re-saleable household items, including building materials and home decor.
Meanwhile a volunteer orientation session on the new Habitat ‘house build’ in Picton will be held at the Picton Theatre at the noon hour on Friday, with lunch provided.
