Residents in the Quinte region will be keeping an eye of local waterways for the next few days.
Both Lower Trent and Quinte Conservation have issued flood watches and Monday we broke a 55-year rainfall record.
Homeowners in low-lying areas downstream of Stoco Lake, in Foxboro, Plainfield and Carleton Cove could see ponding water and backyard flooding this week.
Waterways in Prince Edward County could crest later this week as well.
There is still large amounts of snow in the northern portions of local watersheds.
The flood watches stretch from the Grafton area, to north of Napanee and include the Moira, Salmon and Trent River water systems.
