A new company coming to Prince Edward County is looking for homes to go green, starting from the top down.
The unnamed company will take over a vacant green house property on Huycks Bay Road, just off County Road 20.
They will grow roofs of green turf, which are placed on top of homes.
County Mayor Peter Mertens says this is good for the environment.
The company has already started preliminary work.
The now severed property has more than $200,000 feet of green houses.
