Jenny Andrews, and Holly Aman both from Prince Edward Collegiate Institute in Picton were awarded scholarships from Quinte Waste Solutions to further their education in environmental studies in the fall.
Jenny was awarded $1000, and Holly $500.
“These two students submitted excellent applications, and fit the goal of the scholarship perfectly,” says Dan Orr with Quinte Waste Solutions. “Judging is based on volunteerism, grades, letters of recommendation, and written submissions.”
