It could be down to today and tomorrow for a group fighting construction of industrial wind turbines in southern Prince Edward County.
The Ontario Court of Appeal will listen to the Prince Edward County Field Naturalists’ case, starting this morning in Toronto.
They oppose Gildead Power’s plan to build nine massive turbines on the shores at Ostrander Point.
The field naturalists argue that the turbines will disturb the habitat of many species and will be directly in the path of migrating birds.
If their arguments are turned down, construction of the turbines could begin in the new year.
