Quinte Conservation can provide outdoor education programming and team building activities year round for nursery schools, day cares, home schooling groups, private schools, youth groups, day camps, workplace teams or other community groups.
Teachers with the local school boards should contact their board office to arrange for outdoor education programming. Other groups can do so through Quinte Conservation.
Programs can be a half day or a full day and can take place weekdays or weekends all year long. Outdoor education programs at the H.R. Frink Conservation Area provide a platform for exploration and discovery while inspiring respect for others and the natural world.
Groups can choose activities such as guided hikes, orienteering, bird studies, crafts, adventure team building, and outdoor cooking.
Programs are led by qualified and experienced outdoor education staff. Your group can expect to have a fun, engaging, and informative experience at the Frink Centre.
Fees
Half day programs cost $5 per participant with a minimum charge of $125. There is no charge for parent supervisors.
Full day programs and adventure team building sessions cost $10 per person with a minimum charge of $250. There is no charge for parent supervisors. Outdoor cooking can be included in these two programs.
