The U-S Senate energy committee is expected to advance a bill approving the Keystone X-L oil pipeline. The bill narrowly failed in the last Congress, and President Obama has said he would veto it if it lands on his desk as it stands. Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee Chair Lisa Murkowski says the bill is the top priority of the new Republican-controlled Senate.
