New Quinte West garbage drop off

Quinte West residents will have a new place to drop off their garbage starting Tuesday.

A partnership has been announced between Waste Management and the municipality, to allow waste drop off at their transfer station on Chester Road, west of Sidney Street, off West Street.

Director of Public Works and Environmental Services Chris Angelo says this change has been made, following the closure of their Pelham Street drop off.

It is $2.50 for a garbage bag, while yard waste tags are $1 each.

They will accept only debit or credit.
