HPE Public Health releases weekly beach report

It’s another clean week in the Hastings Prince Edward area as far as beach postings go.

Hastings Prince Edward Public Health says no area beaches have been posted as unsafe for swimming.

However, Centennial Park’s Northport Beach wasn’t tested, due to ongoing flooding concerns, so swimmers should avoid that area.

Beaches are tested weekly for e-coli and other bacteria.
