Slow and steady sets record

We received a nice easy soaking rain on Tuesday in the Quinte region, and lots of it.

In the process, we now have a new rainfall record for a September 25.

According to readings taken at CFB Trenton 35 millimetres, or close to 1.5 inches of rain fell.

That was almost double the previous rain record which was 18 mm set in 1977.
