Steamy day ahead

It’s going to be a summer-like day today and we might set a new high temperature record for the date.

As it stands, the warmest October 9 in the Quinte region occurred in 2003 when the mercury climbed to 24.3 degrees.

Today’s forecast calls for highs of around 25 or 26 degrees. With the humidex factored in it will feel even warmer.
