Full cold moon tonight

The sky tonight (Saturday) will feature the December “cold moon”, a full moon that will be up for the longest period of time of the year.

The moon will rise at 5 this afternoon and set at 8:32 tomorrow (Sunday) morning.

The full moon will be up for 15 hours and 32 minutes.

Meanwhile, last night (Friday) was the longest night of the year in our part of the world.
