Storm hits, no record

It was quite a day Tuesday. The forecast called for a lot of snow and we did get a fair bit.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton 19.7 centimetres of snow fell on the region and there
were ice pellets mixed in as well.
That’s a good amount but no record. Back on February 12 of 1988 a little over 27 cm fell on the Quinte region.
The worst of the storm is behind us. Environment Canada has ended its storm warning for the area and only a couple of cm of snow or so is expected Wednesday.
