Cooler and wetter

The month of April was a little cooler and wetter than normal.
According to Environment Canada and readings taken at CFB Trenton the average high temperature
last month was 11 degrees celsius, one degree lower than the historical average of 12 degrees.
The warmest day of the month was Tuesday April 23 when the mercury climbed to 20 degrees.
Meanwhile, 91 millimetres of rain fell in our area last month. We received just a trace of snow.
The usual amount of rain for an April in our region is 72 mm and 6 centimetres of snow is considered a normal amount.
The rainiest day last month came on Sunday April 14 when we received 23.4 mm.
