High wave headaches on Bay of Quinte

It appears boaters are causing some concerns for those living along area waterways.
Quinte News has been receiving calls about boaters driving at high speeds along Lake Ontario and the Bay of Quinte.
The concern is soil erosion.
Chief of the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte R. Don Maracle says he has received numerous calls about this.
The high waves are pulling ground off owners’ shorelines, and with the high water, it makes it even more damaging.
Lake Erie is running at record levels, and the staff at the Moses-Saunders Dam in Cornwall is holding back water in Lake Ontario so Montreal does not see worse flooding.
That water backs up in Lake Ontario, and into the Bay of Quinte.
