The County’s geographic information systems (GIS) tool showing areas potentially vulnerable to flooding is now available online.
This GIS tool, which was used at the recent flood preparation open house, maps areas potentially at risk of flooding. The tool is for information purposes only.

Providing practical, location-specific information is one way the municipality is helping residents prepare for potential flooding this spring with Lake Ontario experiencing near record-high water levels for this time of year.
If you live or operate a business in a vulnerable area, you are encouraged to start preparing.

The municipality is currently preparing its response in the event of flooding.
The Emergency Control Group is meeting on a regular basis to monitor the situation and put plans in place.
