There are some changes to those Belleville residents who receive garbage and recycling collection on Wednesdays this week and next due to the holidays.
If your regular collection day for garbage, green bin or recycling is on Wednesdays, then it will be collected on Saturday, Dec. 28 (instead of Dec. 25) this week and on Saturday, Jan. 4 (instead of Jan. 1) next week.
The City of Belleville has also posted its Christmas tree collection schedule.
Or, you can drop off your used Christmas tree, free of ornaments, at the Parks & Open Spaces office located at 259 North Park Street.
