The City of Belleville is preparing to host its first annual Seedy Saturday.
The March 1 event will have something for everyone from newbie to experienced gardeners.
Learn about urban gardening techniques even if all you have is a small yard, patio or even balcony.
There will be a seed swap, special guests & demonstrations, children’s activities, gardening vendors and more.
Seedy Saturday is being held in partnership with the City’s Green Task Force committee, the Belleville Gardening Club, Seeds of Diversity Canada and Quinte Conservation.
The event will be held March 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Centennial Secondary School (180 Palmer Rd.)
Admission is free.
