Gardeners and gardener wannabes are welcome to apply to be part of Belleville’s Community Gardens in 2025.
Applications for plots at one the City’s three Community Garden locations are being accepted until February 26.
There are 50 plots available at the Bayview Heights Garden on Bay Drive, with another 21 at Ponton Park on Dundas Street West and 26 more at the West Hill Community Garden on Octavia Street.

Those unable to apply online can email gardens@belleville.ca to get a paper copy or call 613-967-3200, ext. 3219 to apply over the phone.
The Community Garden program was initiated by the City of Belleville’s Green Task Force in 2012 to give residents a place to grow vegetables and flowers in designated parks.
Anyone living in Belleville can apply, no special skills required.
