April 22 is Earth Day! This day is an opportunity to renew our commitment to the environment and to the implementation of sustainability efforts. Earth Day began in 1970 to raise awareness of environmental action.
Today, countries around the world take part with many individuals, groups, and organizations showcasing what they are doing to address various environmental issues.
Prince Edward County is celebrating Earth Day with a number of events surrounding the occasion.
